Whitefield is always moving, but here at T-Zed Homes on Varthur Road, things feel a bit different. We are Dumas Bakes N Meals, and we spend most of our time at #221. It’s a lot of flour and heat from the ovens every single day. We started this because we wanted to do something with food right here in the area where we live. Living and working in the same spot means we know the neighbors well. We aren't some big chain from the city center with a lot of money. It’s just us doing the baking and getting meals ready. Some days the traffic on Varthur Road is a total mess, so we just stay inside and focus on what is happening in the kitchen. We handle a lot of different orders throughout the day. People from the apartments stop by to see what we have or we send things out. It’s a practical business. We don't have fancy brochures or a polished way of talking to people. We just make sure the food is ready when we say it will be. Being in Bangalore, especially in a spot like this, keeps us on our toes. There is always someone looking for a quick bite or a proper meal for their family. We do what we can with the space we have. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local community here in Karnataka. Nothing more to it than that.
