We are over at No.09, K.No. 1080/1 07/54 in Haripriya Nilaya. It is part of the Lords Steps Layout in Panathur Dinne. This is Bangalore, but it feels a bit like its own little world over here. DHRUVA THARE CHITS PRIVATE LIMITED is our small business. We set it up because we saw people in the layout struggling to save for big expenses. Our office is basically a converted room with some basic furniture. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. When you walk in, you usually just see one of us sitting at the desk with a bunch of files. We spend a lot of our time explaining how the chit cycles work to new members. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of writing. The road outside can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, so we try to keep the door shut. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in Bangalore. We just want to serve the folks living in and around Panathur Dinne. Sometimes we make mistakes in the spelling on the forms, but we always fix them. It is a very hands-on job. We know most of our members by their first names and we often talk about more than just money when they visit. It’s a friendly place and we try to keep it simple. It keeps us busy and the community seems to appreciate having us here.
