Devraj Urban Nidhi Limited

The office for Devraj Urban Nidhi Limited is right near the Z.P School on the main road in Itkur. If you know House No 8, that is where you will find us. Being so close to the school means it gets quite noisy during the lunch break and when the kids go home for the day. You can hear the bells and the shouting from our front door. We have been here in Itkur for some time, and the locals all know where we are. It’s a simple setup with a few desks and a bench for people to sit on while they wait. The main road can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we are always sweeping the floor to keep the dust out. There is a small shop next door where we get our snacks. Most of our day is spent helping people with their paperwork and explaining how the Nidhi works. It is mostly local folks coming in, neighbors and people from the surrounding farms. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just a small board out front. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the door to let the light in and keep working. It is a quiet kind of life here in the village, and we like being part of the community. We stay until the sun starts to set and then head home.
