Devnam Builders Private Limited

Our office is at 131 Ullala Main, which is pretty close to Vidyanikethan School here in Bangalore. It’s a lively area, especially when the school lets out and the street gets packed with kids and parents. Devnam Builders Private Limited is a small outfit. We don't have a big fancy glass building; we just work out of this space where we can keep our files and meet with the guys from the sites. Building homes and other structures is what keeps us going. We spend a lot of our time dealing with suppliers and making sure the bricks and steel arrive when they are supposed to. Sometimes they don't, and that’s when the stress starts, but we usually manage to sort it out. We aren't into big marketing campaigns. Most people find us because they saw one of our sites or someone told them we were okay to work with. The office always smells a bit like old paper and the tea we make on the little stove in the back. We have a couple of desks that have seen better days, but they work for what we need. It’s a lot of phone calls, a lot of checking measurements, and making sure the laborers are doing alright. We’ve been around Ullala Main for a while now, and it feels like home. We just do the job day by day, making sure the foundations are poured right and the walls are straight.
