Our office is #65A, Lakhsmi Niwas, on the 1st Main Road right opposite the Hopcom shop in Sanjaynagar, Bangalore. Cpas Lifestyle Private Limited is the name on the small board outside. Sanjaynagar is a bustling part of Bangalore-560094, and being right across from the Hopcom shop makes it easy for people to find us. It’s also handy for getting fresh fruit during the break. The building, Lakhsmi Niwas, has a bit of an old-school feel to it. It’s not a modern glass tower, which suits us just fine. Inside, we have our setup for the lifestyle business. It’s a mix of computers and samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through spreadsheets. The 1st Main Road can be quite loud with all the scooters and cars going by, but we don't mind it much. It feels like we’re in the middle of everything. We have a small corner where we keep the coffee machine, which is probably the most used thing in the office. We don't have a lot of rules about what people wear or how they sit. It’s a relaxed environment, but we get the work done. Karnataka weather can be unpredictable, so we’re always messing with the fans to stay comfortable. We just focus on our daily list and try to get through it before the sun goes down. It’s a simple, local way of doing things.
