Costume By Saniha (Opc) Private Limited is located at #554, Vaishnavi Unnathi, on the 7th Main Road in Rajeev Gandhi Nagar, 2nd Phase. It’s a decent-sized space in a building that has a few other things going on too. The 7th Main Road is usually pretty busy with people going about their business. We do a lot of costume work here, so the place is often overflowing with different fabrics, threads, and half-finished pieces. It’s not always the neatest place, but that’s the nature of sewing. We have racks and racks of clothes waiting for adjustments. The light in the workspace is okay, but we often use extra lamps when we are doing the fine detail work. It’s just a few of us here, so the atmosphere is pretty casual. We don't go in for suits or fancy meetings. Usually, we are just in our working clothes, focused on getting the measurements right. Rajeev Gandhi Nagar has grown a lot, and there are more shops popping up around us all the time. Sometimes the noise from the construction nearby gets a bit distracting, but we just turn up the radio and keep going. We spend most of our time at the cutting tables or behind the machines. It’s a practical way to spend the day, making things that people are actually going to wear. We just keep at it, one stitch at a time, until the job is done.
