Our studio is located at 5036 in Sobha Chrysanthemum, which is on Thanisandra Main Road. It’s actually a residential complex, which might seem a bit odd for an office, but it works well for a design studio like ours. We didn't want a noisy commercial space. We prefer the quiet here so we can focus on our design projects. Thanisandra is a part of Bangalore that is changing fast, with new buildings going up every week. It’s a bit dusty outside, but inside the studio, it’s pretty calm. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. If you came over, you’d probably think you were just visiting someone’s home until you saw all the big monitors and drawing tablets. We are just a small group of designers. We don't really do the corporate lifestyle. No one wears a tie here. We just drink a lot of tea and work through our design layouts. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We find that we work better when we aren't stressed about corporate stuff. Most of our work comes from people who heard about us from someone else. We just try to make things that look good and function right. It’s a simple way to run a business, and being in a spot like Sobha Chrysanthemum keeps things feeling relaxed and honest for the whole team while we get our daily tasks done.
