Our place is right on Ibrahim Sahib Street, which is just off Commercial Street in Shivajinagar. We’re located on the 2nd Floor at No.40/9. If you know Bangalore at all, you know how crowded and loud this specific area is. It’s always buzzing with people and tiny shops. Calico Tribe Clothing Llp is the name we went with when we started. We work with clothes, which makes a lot of sense given where we are located. The office isn't very big at all. We have to be really careful with how we use the space. Boxes are usually stacked pretty high in all the corners. It’s a bit of a climb up the narrow stairs, but we don't really mind. Being in the heart of the shopping district is actually very useful for us. We see everything that’s happening in the local market just by looking out the window. The team is just a handful of us. We don't have a HR department or any of those corporate structures. If there's a problem, we just talk it out over some lunch. It’s all very informal. We focus on the daily tasks. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week. It’s just part of the charm of being in Shivajinagar. We’ve been here for a bit and don't see ourselves moving anywhere else soon. It’s a practical spot for a clothing business.
