Cake Prince (Opc) Private Limited is located over at D105 in the Durga Petals building. We are pretty close to the Rainbow Children Hospital, which is a big landmark around Doddanekkundi. Being on the Outer Ring Road means there is always noise and cars going by, but it keeps us busy. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area. There is always something baking or someone cleaning up flour from the counters. It gets hot in there during the afternoons. We aren't some big factory; it's a smaller setup. Most people find us because they live in the apartments nearby or they are heading to the hospital. We don't do much advertising. We just focus on the cakes and getting the orders right. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and someone has to rush out to the shops. It’s just the way it goes when you’re running a small food place. We started this in Doddanekkundi because it felt like a good spot. The Durga Petals complex is huge, so finding D105 can take a minute if you're new. We keep things simple here. No big corporate meetings, just us making cakes and trying to keep the workspace tidy. It’s a lot of manual work, standing on your feet all day. But we like the smell of the place. It's homey, even with all the traffic outside on the Ring Road.
