We are down here in the Mahadevapura area, specifically inside the KSSIDC Industrial Estate at that 10/2 ground floor spot. It is mostly a lot of warehouses and small factories around us, so the coffee work we do stands out a bit from the neighbors. The morning usually starts early with the sound of trucks moving and the smell of roasting. It gets dusty being in an industrial zone but that is just part of being in this section of Bangalore. People from the other units often stop by when they need a break from the noise. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything like that. It is just a workspace where the coffee gets sorted and packed up. The floors are concrete and the walls have a few scuffs from moving crates around. Most of the time, the air smells like dark beans and a bit of exhaust from the road outside. We have been in this spot for a while now and the staff knows the security guards by name. It is a practical setup for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back. It isn't a polished showroom, just a place where work happens every day without too much fuss. We mostly focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the bags are sealed right before they go out the door to wherever they are going next. It’s a job.
