If you head down to Kodathi Village, you’ll find us at Brickizza Woodfire Pizza Private Limited. We are located at number 112 in the Varthur Hobli area, near the Carmelaram Post. It’s a bit of a journey out here but we love the village atmosphere. We spend most of our time around the woodfire oven. It gets hot, especially during the lunch and dinner rushes, but that’s the job. We aren't some big chain; we’re just a local pizza place trying to make things right. The building is simple and we’ve tried to make it comfortable for anyone who stops by. Working in Varthur Hobli has its own pace. It’s a bit slower than the city center, which we appreciate. We handle everything ourselves, from prepping the dough to making sure the wood for the fire is dry and ready to go. It’s a lot of physical work and we’re often covered in flour by the end of the shift. We decided to set up in Kodathi Village because it felt like a good spot for a local woodfire pizza joint. People from the Carmelaram Post area know where we are. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make pizzas and keep the fire going. It’s a basic life but it keeps us busy and we enjoy the people who come through our doors. Our oven is the heart of the whole operation.
