Blue Dog Imports Private Limited is over in Padmanabhanagar. We are at 37/43, in a building called Nagu Shelter on 18th Main. It is a pretty decent area in Bengaluru, 560070. The office is just a regular room where we manage all the import details. It is not one of those high-rise tech offices you see in other parts of the city. We chose this spot because it is a bit more settled. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is not too bad compared to the rest of Bangalore. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to folks overseas. There are piles of folders on the desks and the printer is usually running. It is a practical way to run a business. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If someone comes by, they just pull up a chair. The 18th Main gets some traffic, but it is mostly people going about their business. We keep things pretty simple here. We do not have a lot of rules about how things look, as long as the imports are getting where they need to go. It is a small group of us, and we have known each other for a long time. We just try to get through the daily list and head home when the work is finished. Sometimes we grab a quick snack from the vendors outside when things get really busy in the afternoon.
