Blind Vision Foundation

You can find us at 21, 3rd Floor of the Hiprofiles Businesscentres on Church Street. Being right on 1A Church Street means we are in the middle of everything. It’s a very busy part of Bangalore. The Blind Vision Foundation has been operating from this spot for a while. The building has a lot of other businesses in it, so there is always people coming and going. It can be a bit noisy outside with all the traffic and shoppers, but once you get up to the third floor, it’s a lot better. We have a modest office space. It’s mostly just desks and chairs. We do a lot of our work over the phone and online. Because we are central, it's easy for people to reach us by metro or bus. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on what needs to be done each day. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of paperwork. Other days we might finish early if things are quiet. It’s a very straightforward environment. We aren't here to put on a show. We just want to do our part and keep the foundation moving forward. Church Street is a great place to be because of the energy, even if the parking is a nightmare. We just make it work. Usually, there's a stack of mail to go through and a few calls to return before lunch. We keep a spare umbrella by the door for the monsoon rain.
