Black Chilli Restaurants is located in Brigade Metropolis over in Mahadevpura. Specifically, you can find us at The Arcade, Ground Floor, No. 7. It is right in the Garudachar Palya area, which is always packed with people working in the nearby offices. We are an LLP and we spend most of our time on the restaurant floor. It is a lot of standing and walking around. We don't have a separate corporate office. Everything from the paperwork to the food prep happens right here at the ground floor unit. The Arcade is a busy place with a lot of movement, so there is never a dull moment. We have a crew of local guys who handle the kitchen and the tables. We eat our meals together when the rush dies down. We chose the name because we wanted something that stood out a bit. Managing a restaurant in such a busy part of Bangalore is a constant juggle. We have to stay on top of the deliveries and make sure the tables are cleared quickly. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just rely on the fact that people need a place to eat during their lunch breaks or after work. Sometimes the equipment breaks down or we have a shortage of staff, and we just have to lean in and do the extra work ourselves. It’s a tiring job but we are used to the pace of Mahadevpura now.
