If you’ve ever tried to navigate the blocks and crosses in Rajajinagar, you know it can be like a maze sometimes. Once you find the 53rd D Cross though, we are right there. The office is in a building that’s been around for a while. It’s got that old Bangalore charm, but it’s also quite busy. There are shops all around us, so there’s always people walking past the entrance. Inside, we have our desks set up to handle all the paperwork for the chits. It’s a lot of small details to manage, so we try to keep the noise down, but it’s hard with the city sounds outside. We have people from all walks of life coming in here. Some are small business owners from the market, and others are just families looking to save. We sit across from each other and go over the numbers. There is no big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a room where we do our work and keep the records safe. We drink a lot of coffee during the day to stay sharp because counting and checking entries all day can get tiring. It’s a steady routine that we’ve grown used to over the years.
