If you look across from SCT College in Maruthi Nagar, you’ll see Bake And Bite Private Limited. We are situated in Shop No 1 and 2 at the KKR Complex. Having the college right across the street means there is always a lot of movement and noise. We like the energy of the students passing by all day. We have two shop spaces joined together which gives us a bit of room to move around. Maruthi Nagar is a busy local area with lots of shops and houses. We start our work early in the morning before most people are even awake. The oven takes a while to heat up properly. We don't have a fancy corporate structure or any polished brochures. It is just a local business where we bake what we can and sell it to whoever comes in. The complex itself is quite plain. We don’t have expensive decorations or neon lights. We just keep the place clean and focus on the baking. Sometimes the supply of flour is late or the traffic on the main road is backed up. We just deal with those things as they happen. It’s not always easy but we’ve been here for a while and we know how things work in this part of Bangalore. We just hope people enjoy what they get from us. It is a straightforward shop where the work never really stops until we close the doors.
