If you have ever been to Mamulpet in Bangalore, you know how crowded it gets. BAGODA CHIT FUND PRIVATE LIMITED is located right in the middle of all that chaos at No 138 in the Jaya Building. It is a very old area of the city, and the streets are always full of carts, bikes, and people moving goods around. Our office is up the stairs, and it’s usually pretty busy throughout the day. We have been here in Mamulpet for a long time now. The building is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We handle a lot of chit fund accounts, so there are always people coming in to pay their installments or ask about their cycles. It gets very loud outside with the shouting of vendors and the honking of horns, but inside we just focus on the books. We have a couple of old wooden cupboards where we keep all the records organized. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when too many people show up at once, especially on the days when the auctions happen. We usually grab some coffee from the vendor downstairs to keep us going through the afternoon. It is a hardworking place in a hardworking part of town. We don’t bother with anything fancy, we just do our jobs and then head back to our families.
