Up on the 2nd Floor of house number 166 on MM Road, you will find Aykaa Coffee Private Limited. We are right in the heart of Cox Town in Bangalore North. The pincode here is 560005. Being on the second floor is nice because we are away from the dust of the street. However, the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying heavy bags of beans. We spend most of our days working with coffee in one way or another. The air always has a bit of a toasted smell to it. Cox Town is a quiet neighborhood compared to some other parts of Bangalore. There are many old houses around here. Our office isn’t anything special to look at. We just have the machines we need and some space to sit and handle the paperwork. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us trying to make a living. The weather in Bangalore is usually good for our work, though the monsoon can make the roof leak sometimes. We just put a bucket under it and keep going. We don’t have any fancy missions. We just want to get through the day and make sure the coffee is handled right. It’s a simple life and we are happy to be in this part of town, working away at our own speed.
