Our office is based over in Dollar Colony, which is a fairly quiet and green part of Bangalore compared to the busy center. Specifically, we're at number 106 on the 3rd Main in RMV Extension. Even though the company name says weaving mills, this office is where we handle all the management and planning side of things. The actual weaving happens at our facility elsewhere, but this office is where we organize the production schedules and talk to the buyers. It’s a nice enough spot, located in the 1st block of the 2nd stage. We've been here for a good bit now. Some people think being in Dollar Colony means it's all fancy and corporate, but we just have a regular, functional office setup. We spend our days on the phone or checking the various fabric samples that come in from the mill. It’s important to make sure the quality of the fabric is exactly what people are expecting from us. Sometimes we have long meetings with the supervisors from the mill to see how the weekly production is going. It involves a lot of coordination and checking lists. We try to keep things very simple and avoid the usual corporate headaches that come with bigger firms. It’s just us and a few staff members making sure the whole business keeps running as it should. We like the location because it's quiet and easy for people to find once they get into the neighborhood. The walk to the main road is nice too.
