Being on the Bangalore to Chennai highway in Chinnar means it is always noisy. You can hear the trucks roaring past all day and night. It’s a busy place because of all the people stopping for food nearby. Our office and processing area are right there in the mix. We spend a lot of time looking out at the traffic. The dust from the road can be a bit much, so we are always cleaning the windows and the front area. We handle a lot of dairy food items here. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of us are just regular people from the surrounding villages who come in to work the shifts. We have a small break area where we eat our lunch, usually watching the highway. The heat can get pretty intense in Chinnar, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun really hits the complex. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything.
