Association For Startups And Technologyrefinement In Agriculture is located at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Krishi Nagar. You can find us near the Vice Chancellor’s office. The campus is huge and very green, which makes sense given what we do. It’s actually a really nice place to work because you're surrounded by trees and research fields instead of just concrete. Our office is a simple one, tucked away in one of the university buildings. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or bean bags you see in city startups. We have old wooden desks and a lot of papers about farming and technology. Most days, we’re busy talking to people who have new ideas for farming or trying to help them refine their tech. It’s a lot of practical work, not just sitting around brainstorming. We get our shoes a bit dirty sometimes walking across the campus to meet someone. It’s a long walk from the main gate, but we don't mind the exercise. We’ve been part of the Krishi Nagar scene for a while and we get along well with the faculty and students. We aren't a big, flashy organization. We’re just here to help out where we can and make sure the tech actually works for the people who need it. It’s a quiet, steady kind of job in a very beautiful part of Bangalore that many people never see.
