Ashwin Dhana Sahaya Nidhi Limited is based over at No. 169 on 7th Cross in Anandapuram. We’re part of the New Thippasandra Post area, which is a busy little corner of the city. We’ve been operating out of this spot, helping people with their small savings and loans. It’s a Nidhi company, so it’s all about the members and the local community. We don’t have those big polished counters you see in the center of town. Instead, we have a simple desk and some registers. Most of our members are people who live just a few streets away or run the shops nearby. They drop in when they have a little extra cash to put away or when they need a bit of help for a family event. We keep things very plain and simple. No one here is wearing a suit and tie; we just dress like everyone else in Anandapuram. The 7th Cross can get a bit crowded with scooters, but it’s a good place to be. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure every rupee is accounted for. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We’ve grown to like the rhythm of this neighborhood. It’s our home and our place of work, all rolled into one.
