We spend a lot of our time over at G04 in the Tirumala vintage apartment building, which is right near the Hosa Road Junction on Hosur Road. It’s where Animal Wellness And Security Foundation gets most of its daily work done. Living in Bangalore, you see a lot of animals that just need a bit of a hand, and that’s essentially why we started this thing. It’s not some big fancy office or anything like that, just a spot on Basapur Road where we can organize things and try to make a difference. Sometimes it’s busy and a bit chaotic inside, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with the welfare of local animals. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We’re just a small group of people who care about the dogs and cats around our neighborhood. If you're driving past the junction, you've probably seen the area. It gets quite crowded there. We try to keep things simple and practical. Dealing with security and wellness for these creatures takes up most of our days, but it’s worth it when things turn out okay for them. We don't have a lot of staff, mostly just folks who show up and help out because they want to. It’s honest work. We deal with the day-to-day stuff, making sure animals are safe and healthy as much as we can manage. It's just what we do here.
