Anbs Exim Private Limited is based right here on the third floor of Mosque Road Cross in Frazer Town. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here, especially in the evenings with all the food stalls and traffic. Our office is up a few flights of stairs, which keeps us active I guess. We deal with import and export stuff, which basically means we spend half the day looking at spreadsheets and the other half talking to transporters. It's Bangalore, so the noise from the street usually makes its way up to us, but we've gotten used to it over time. We started this because we knew a bit about how trade works and wanted to do it ourselves. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some filing cabinets, and a kettle that we use way too much for tea. We handle different kinds of goods, depending on what's moving in the market. Sometimes it’s stressful when a container is late or the rules change suddenly. We don't have a big corporate setup. It's just us trying to keep things moving smoothly without too much fuss. Dealing with customs and shipping lines takes up most of our energy. We try to stay honest about what we can do. Some days are just about catching up on emails that piled up overnight while we were sleeping. Frazer Town is a good spot for us because it’s central, even if parking is a nightmare. We’re just a small team doing our thing day by day and hoping for the best.
