Amarantha Foundation

Amarantha Foundation is situated at No 78 in Gr Sun Villas. We’re out on Nimabekaypurahoskur Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but the peace and quiet out here make up for the commute. The villas are quite nice and having the foundation set up in one of them gives us plenty of room to move around. We have a small garden area that we try to keep alive, though none of us are particularly good at gardening. The name Amarantha has a nice ring to it, though we don't spend much time thinking about the branding side of things. We’re mostly focused on the practical side of running a foundation. There’s a lot of coordinating with people over the phone and keeping track of our resources. The Nimabekaypurahoskur Road area is still developing, so sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets spotty. We’ve learned to just take a break when that happens. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some wooden desks and a couple of old filing cabinets. It’s a relaxed environment. We don’t have a boss breathing down our necks, just a group of people doing the work together. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady work and we like being out here away from the noise of the city. Usually, the day ends with us just tidying up the desks and making sure the gate is locked properly before we leave.
