Our hospital is located at 328-A, right near the Sevashram Circle on Airport Road. It’s a spot that’s easy to find because the circle is a major landmark for anyone driving through the area. Alka Ivf Shree Kanak Hospital is the full name on our paperwork, but to most people, we’re just the hospital by the circle. The building is a decent size and we have a few different sections inside for various medical needs. Since we are on Airport Road, the traffic can be quite something, especially during the peak hours in the morning and evening. We hear the honking and the buses going by all day long. Inside, though, we try to keep things moving along in an organized way. We have a reception area that usually has someone behind the desk shuffling papers or answering the phone. The floors are that typical hospital white, and we have the usual rows of plastic chairs for visitors. It’s not a fancy place with expensive decor; it’s built for function. We see all kinds of people coming in from the surrounding neighborhoods and even people traveling from further away because of the Airport Road connection. Our days are filled with the usual hospital routines—checking in patients, updating records, and keeping the rooms ready. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on our feet, but we’ve been doing it for a long while now. We just focus on getting through the daily list of things to do for the folks who come in.
