Alchemy Foundation For Sustainable Development

Alchemy Foundation For Sustainable Development is based at No 49 on the first floor. We are in the Varuna Brindavan building, which is part of the Brindavan Nagar Extension off Bagalur Road. It is a busy area and we like the energy around here. We are mostly focused on local things that help the environment and the community last longer. It sounds like a big goal, but we keep it pretty simple. We are not a huge team with lots of funding. It is just a few of us who care about how our neighborhood is changing. Our office is a bit cluttered with papers and samples of things we are working on. We do not really have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If you come by, you will probably just find one of us at a desk or on the phone. We like being on the first floor because it is easy for people to drop in. Bagalur Road can get pretty crowded, so it is nice to have this little space to focus. We do not use a lot of big words to explain what we do. We just look at what is around us and see what could be better. It is practical, everyday work. We make mistakes sometimes, but we are learning as we go. It is just about doing something decent for the place we live in.
