AKJS DEVELOPERS AND GENERAL TRADING PRIVATE LIMITED is run by N Prabhakar Reddy and we are based at No 20 in the Ashtalakshmi Layout over in Puttenahalli. It’s a residential-feeling area which makes it feel more like a community than a cold business district. We do a bit of everything, from developing small patches of land to general trading of goods that builders might need. It started out quite small and we just kept going year after year. Our office is basically just a place to keep the records and meet people to talk about deals. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. If someone needs a project managed or some materials sourced, we see if we can help them out. It’s pretty straightforward. Some days are slow and others we can’t even find a minute to sit down. We’ve lived and worked in this part of the city for a long time, so we know the layout and the people pretty well. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just one that people can actually talk to without getting lost in some corporate system. We just keep things moving and try to be fair with everyone we deal with. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't have it any other way right now. We are usually around if someone wants to drop by and talk about a piece of land.
