Zircast Limited

Zircast Limited is located at Unit No. 2, 37 in the Second Phase of the Jigani Industrial Area. It’s out in Anakal Taluka. If you’ve been out this way, you know it’s a lot of factories and heavy trucks. We do investment castings here. It’s a specific process involving molds and molten metal. It’s not clean work. The facility is set up for production, so don’t expect a showroom. We have furnaces and casting equipment that stay hot most of the day. The guys on the floor have been doing this for a long time. We don’t have a fancy website with big words. We just focus on the precision of the parts we make. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generators. It’s just one of those things you deal with in an industrial area. We spend our time checking dimensions and making sure the metal quality is right. It’s a lot of repetitive work but it has to be done correctly. We eat lunch together in the break area. It’s a simple life. We don’t use any corporate jargon. We just make the castings and ship them out to the clients who need them. The commute out to Jigani is long for some of us, but we’ve made this place our work home. We don't mind the dust or the heat too much once we get into the flow of things. There's always a new batch of molds to prepare for tomorrow.
