We are located out in the KIADB Apparel Park in Doddaballapura. It is a long drive from the main city, but being in this industrial area gives us the space we need across plots S18, S19, and S20. Bhashettihalli is often a bit dusty and usually feels like it is constantly under construction, but it is where the real work happens for us. We do a lot of clothing work here, mostly focused on the practical side of manufacturing. The warehouse is quite large, so it can get a bit cold in the early mornings and then really hot by the afternoon when the sun hits the roof. We spend a lot of time checking fabrics and making sure the machines are running like they should. It is not the kind of place where you will find people wearing suits; we are all usually covered in some bit of thread or fabric dust by lunch. The canteen nearby is where we usually grab tea and talk about the day's tasks. Sometimes the trucks get delayed on the highway, which throws our whole schedule off, but that is just how it goes in this business. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just us, the machines, and a lot of fabric. People who work here mostly come from the surrounding villages, so it feels like a small community. We just try to get the work out on time.
