The building is simple and we have worked hard to make the best use of the space we have available. Most of our staff are local people who live right here in the village or nearby. It is a quiet place for the most part, which actually helps the patients feel a bit more relaxed while they are here. We don't have the massive budgets that the corporate hospitals have, so we just focus on providing the basic care that people need. Every day seems to bring something new, whether it is a supply delivery being late or just dealing with the usual maintenance of an older building. We just take it as it comes. It is a local operation through and through. We know the families in Channasandra and they have come to know us over the years. We aren't trying to change the whole medical system; we just want to have a reliable place for people to come when they are sick. The floors are kept clean, the beds are ready, and we do our best.
