Nandisri Veg

Nandisri Veg is located on Attibele Am Road. We are right on the way for a lot of people heading out of the city or coming back in. It’s a purely vegetarian spot, like the name says. We have a big space, so there is usually a place to sit even when it’s busy. The floor is granite and we try to keep it mopped because people bring in a lot of dust from the road. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just a few pictures and the clock. The kitchen staff has been with us for a long time. They know how to get things done fast. We get a lot of travelers and families. The parking outside can be a bit of a mess during the lunch hour because everyone stops at the same time. We don't have a waiter system where they write everything down on a tablet, we just use paper pads. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening, so it’s better to come early. We use a lot of local spices we get from the wholesale market. It’s a loud place when it’s full, lots of talking and the sound of plates. It feels alive. We just show up, cook, and go home. That’s the life of a restaurant owner on a main road like this one. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and keeps us going.
