We are out at No. 21 C & D in the KIADB Industrial Area in Attibele. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the heavy industry happens. Miki Steel Works is a place where we spend our days surrounded by metal. It’s loud, and there’s always the smell of welding and industrial machines. We don’t have a fancy front office with air conditioning that works all the time. Mostly, we are out on the floor making sure the steel is being processed correctly. It’s a tough environment, and it gets really hot in the summer under the tin roof. We have a crew that doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. We aren't some big corporate entity with thousands of employees. We’re a smaller operation that focuses on getting the steel work right for our clients. The industrial area is full of trucks and other factories, so there’s always a lot of dust and movement. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the area grow quite a bit. We don't spend time on marketing or making ourselves look bigger than we are. If you need steel work done, you come to Attibele and look for us. We just do the work, load the trucks, and get ready for the next day. It’s a simple, hard-working life and it suits us just fine. We don't need much more than that.
