Lasa Living is located in Gadenahali, which is on the outskirts of Bangalore. Our official address is care of Smt. Rathnamma, and that’s how most people find us. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the center of the city, which we prefer. We’re in the 562163 area, and it feels more like a community than a business district. We started this company to handle living and lifestyle items, but we keep the operation very small and personal. There isn't a big staff here. It’s just a few of us working out of a space that feels more like a home than an office. We spend our days looking at designs and dealing with the logistics of moving goods around Bangalore. The traffic can be a nightmare sometimes, so we try to plan our deliveries for the early morning. Our space is filled with all sorts of things we’re working on, and it’s rarely tidy. There are always sketches on the table and fabric swatches hanging around. We don't have a formal mission statement or anything like that. We just enjoy the process of putting things together and seeing them go out to people who want them. It’s a practical life, and we like being tucked away in Gadenahali where we can focus on our work without the noise of the main city roads.
