We are based at 03 Narayanappa Badavane, right on the 5th Cross. If you know where the forest office is in Bod Ballapur, we are directly opposite that. It’s a good landmark to use because the street names can be a bit tricky for people who aren't from around here. The foundation focuses on things happening in our local area, specifically for women and children. We don’t have a big staff. It is mostly just a few of us who grew up around here. The office is small and gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we keep it tidy. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and seeing what needs doing. Bod Ballapur is a quiet place compared to the main city. Our zip code is 561203. We have a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets. It isn't a modern office by any means. We do our best with what we have. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just sit outside for a bit. The forest office across the way has some nice trees, which makes the view okay. We are just trying to help out where we can. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until evening most days. We usually have some tea in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be finished before the weekend comes around.
