Being in Bangalore Rural gives us plenty of space for what we do. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to organize ourselves a bit better. We have sheep and goats to look after and that takes up most of our time. The village life is slow but there is always work to be done. We meet up at the office in Yeliyur Post to discuss things like animal health and where we are going to sell. It is a basic building, nothing special to look at, but it serves our needs just fine. Most of us grew up around here so we know the land and the animals quite well. We don't spend much time on computers or doing fancy marketing. It is more about hands-on work and talking face to face. Sometimes the roads out here get dusty in the summer and muddy when it rains, but that is just part of living in the rural district. We are just trying to make a living and keep our herds healthy.
