V. N. S. Clothing Company

V. N. S. Clothing Company is located right inside the J. P. Complex near the bazar street in Attibele. If you know the Hosur main road area you know how loud and crowded it gets around here. Our shop is at number 169/1 and it is usually filled with stacks of fabric and the sound of machines running. We spend our days cutting cloth and making sure the stitching is straight. It’s a lot of repetitive work but someone has to do it to keep the orders moving. The bazar street is always full of people so there’s always something happening outside our door. Sometimes we have trouble finding space for all the finished boxes before they get picked up. We don’t have fancy displays or a big showroom. It’s mostly just a working space with rolls of thread and cutting tables. My hands usually have a bit of lint on them by the end of the day. We’ve been in this complex for a while now and the neighbors are all doing similar stuff. It’s a practical business where we focus on the garments and getting them packed up. Dealing with the heat and the noise is just part of being on the main road. We keep the lights on late when there’s a lot of work to finish before the weekend starts. The sewing machine oil has a specific smell that you just don't forget after working here for so many years.
