ALK Infrastructure Private Limited is out in Attur Village, which is part of the Hoskote area in Bangalore Rural. It’s quite a bit away from the main city center, so it’s a lot quieter out here. We are located at number 6. The drive out to the office involves going through some dusty roads and past a lot of open land. We like the space we have here. It’s a simple setup, mostly because we spend so much time on actual sites rather than sitting behind desks. Our office is more like a base of operations where we store equipment and keep our records. It’s a bit of a rural setting, so you might see some cows or tractors passing by outside. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just a plain room with some tables and chairs where we can talk about our projects. We deal with the basics of infrastructure, often in areas that are still developing. It’s hard work and the weather isn't always on our side. Sometimes we get stuck in the mud or the sun is just too hot to do much. We just take it as it comes. The people working here are used to the quiet life outside the city. We do our jobs, keep our records straight, and head home when we’re finished. It is a simple way of living and working that suits us.
