We’re located at V-Id in the Ngef Ancillary part of the Industrial Estate over in Mahadevpura. It’s a real industrial setting out here. No fancy parks or cafes, just big sheds and lots of trucks. We work with foam and mattresses, so the warehouse is always full of big, soft blocks that we move around. It’s a lot of physical work. The air is often filled with the smell of new materials. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot because the metal roof of the estate really traps the heat by the afternoon. The team here at Peps Industries Pvt Ltd is used to the sweat and the heavy lifting. We don’t have much in the way of an office, just a small partitioned area with a desk and a phone that never stops ringing. Mahadevpura is a dusty place with all the construction going on nearby, so we’re always wiping down the equipment. We don’t have any polished brochures or anything like that. We just show people the products we’ve made and let them feel the materials for themselves. It’s a busy, noisy, and cramped environment, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. When the shift ends, we’re all pretty tired and ready to go home, but we come back the next day and do it all over again.
