Zeenath Transport Company

Our place is right over in Cowl Bazar, you can’t miss it because the big water tank is right there. Zeenath House is where we stay busy. It’s an old building but it works for what we need. Dealing with mine owners and exports means there’s always something happening. The phones ring a lot and there's always someone coming in to check on a load. We’ve been here in this part of town for a long time. People know us around the bazar. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow streets, which is a big headache, but we manage somehow. It’s mostly just making sure the loads get moved on time. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a receptionist. Just a few desks and a lot of logbooks and charts. You’ll probably see some of the drivers hanging around outside waiting for their next route. They have some stories to tell about the roads, that’s for sure. The heat in the afternoon is pretty bad, so we usually have the fans going full blast. It’s dusty work. Exporting isn't always easy with all the different rules and paperwork, but we’ve seen it all before. We just take it one day at a time. If someone needs something transported, we look at the schedule and see what we can do. Nothing more to it than that. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s our life here.
