Our work is centered at the Sankalpur Iron Ore Mines. You can find our main office at Bhujanganagar Post, which is in Sandur Taluk, Bellary District. It is a very different kind of environment out here compared to the city. It’s dusty, hot, and there is a lot of heavy machinery moving around all the time. We are right in the middle of the mining action. Our office is a simple building that is mostly there for keeping records and managing the workers. It’s not a place for fancy clothes; we usually have dust on our boots and dirt on our hands. We don't have a marketing team or a polish to what we do. It’s raw, physical work. We have to deal with the logistics of moving ore and making sure all the machines are running. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them in the middle of the heat. It’s a tough job but we have been doing it for a long time. The team here knows the local terrain and the challenges of working in Bellary. We don't talk much about 'missions' or 'values.' We just focus on getting the ore out and keeping everyone safe while we do it. The days are long and the work is hard, but it’s what we know. We just keep things moving at the mine and hope for good weather.
