Kusuma Travels

Being based in Kol Bazaar means there is always noise and people moving around outside. Bellary is a busy town and we are right in the middle of it at 583101. At Kusuma Travels, we spend most of our day looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for people. It’s not just Bellary we look after; we also spend a lot of time helping people over in Hubli. It’s a good distance away, but we managed to make it work over the years. Some days are harder than others when the buses are late or someone cancels at the last minute, but we just sit here and try to fix it. We aren't some big corporation with hundreds of staff members. It's just a few of us who know the area well. We don't put up big posters promising things we can't actually do. If a trip is going to be long and tiring, we just tell you that straight. We'd rather you know what to expect before you get on the road. The office is simple, just some chairs and a desk with a lot of papers on it. Most of the locals know where to find us in the bazaar. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get the bookings finished. It’s honest work and we try to do it right every time someone walks through the door. We don't mind the long hours much.
