Kusuma Engg. Works

Our workshop, Kusuma Engg. Works, is located on Itagi Road in Kudligi, Bellary. We are situated right near the Old Railway Station Road, which used to be a lot more active than it is these days. We have been doing fabrication and general engineering tasks here for quite some time now. It is a rugged kind of place, often with sparks flying and that distinct smell of welding in the air. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have the big shed where all the actual work happens. The tools we use are well-worn because they get put to use every single day. We take on whatever jobs the local farmers or small businesses bring to us. Sometimes we are fixing a broken tractor part, and other times it is something for a new building going up nearby. It is dusty work, especially being so close to the old station road. We do not have a big marketing plan or a website. People around here just know we are on Itagi Road. If they need something welded or cut to a specific size, they come and find us. We have got a small crew, mostly guys who grew up in this area. We work hard, take our tea breaks together, and try to get the jobs finished on time. It is not always a pretty sight, and the floor is usually covered in metal scraps, but that is just how an engineering shop works. We like it.
