Our business is set up on Bangalore Road in the Guggiretti area. Krishna Stone-Tech Pvt. Ltd. is basically a place where we process stone using different machines. It is right on the main road, so it is easy for the big trucks to get in and out with the heavy loads. We have a lot of large slabs leaning against the walls, and the sound of the saws is constant during the day. It is a loud environment, but you get used to it after a week or so. We don't have a fancy entrance, just a gate and a small shack where we keep the records. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, even inside the lunchroom, but that is part of working with stone. We have a small crew and we all know our jobs. One guy handles the cutting, another does the polishing, and we have someone to help load the trucks. It is not a complicated setup, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with builders and contractors who need specific sizes for their projects. We try to keep a good variety of stone in the yard so people have choices when they visit. It is steady work and we have been doing it this way for years now without much change. We just get the stone ready.
