We are located over in Block-M-1/14 within Vidyanagar, right here in Toranagallu. It’s a small place compared to the massive plants nearby, but it is where we do our daily work for Jsw Steel Ltd. Bellary is known for its heat and the red dust that seems to get on everything, and our office is no exception. Being in Karnataka, we see a lot of activity related to the steel industry every single day. The office is tucked away in the residential part of the colony, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main highway. We spend our mornings checking logs and the afternoons dealing with whatever logistics issues come up. It’s a simple routine. We’ve got some old chairs and a few computers that have seen better days. There’s no big lobby or anything like that. People just drop by when they need to discuss a shipment or get some documents signed. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just how things go around here, so we take a break and wait it out. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a regular building where the actual work gets done. We know our neighbors and the guys driving the trucks. Most of us have lived in the area for years, so we’ve seen how the steel business has grown around us. We just keep our heads down and handle the metal supplies as they come in and go out for our clients.
