Jsw Steel Ltd. Vijaynagaar, Karnataka

We are located over at 84, Ganesh Nagar in Nagpur. It is a bit of a distance from the main Vijaynagar site in Karnataka, but this is where we handle the local side of things for Jsw Steel Ltd. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we get the paperwork done and talk to people about their steel requirements. Most days are pretty similar here. We start early because the Nagpur heat can get quite intense by the afternoon. There are a few of us working out of this spot. We don't really do the big manufacturing here; that happens back at the main works. Our job is more about making sure things move along properly and people get what they need. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to hear the traffic outside on the street. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there is always something going on nearby. We don't have a big corporate lobby or fancy signs. It is just a place where work happens. People drop by occasionally to ask questions or drop off documents. We try to keep things organized, though with the amount of paper we deal with, it can be a challenge. That is just how it goes in the steel business. It is heavy work even when you are just dealing with the logistics part of it.
