Jsw Energy (Vijayanagar) Ltd, 4X300Mw Coal Based Power Plant

We are located in the Vidyanagar township of Toranagallu, specifically at N3/12 in N-Block. This is our main office for the Jsw Energy (Vijayanagar) Ltd power plant. It’s a coal-based plant with four 300 megawatt units, so it’s a massive operation. Working in the township is quite convenient because we live and work in the same general area. Our office is where a lot of the technical planning and administrative tasks happen. We have desks covered in blueprints and technical reports. The atmosphere is very focused on the practical side of running a power plant. You can always hear the low hum of the plant in the distance, which reminds us of the work we’re doing. We have a mix of people here, from engineers to admin staff. Most of us have been here since the plant was first set up. We don't spend time on polished presentations; we just look at the data and make sure the coal supply is steady. The weather in Bellary can be tough, but the township is well-maintained with plenty of trees. We focus on the daily tasks like maintenance schedules and output reports. It is a big responsibility to keep a power plant running, but we take it one day at a time. It’s just us doing our part to make sure the electricity keeps flowing to the grid as it should.
