Chopra Metal

If you are looking for Chopra Metal, we are at 95, Kalamma Street. It’s pretty easy to find because we are near the Indian Gas place and right opposite the veterinary hospital. You can often hear the animals from across the street in the mornings. Our shop is mostly filled with metal pieces and different bits of hardware. It’s a bit of a noisy business with all the clanking and moving of heavy items. We have been here for a good number of years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We don't have many chairs, so most of the time we are just standing or moving around. It gets quite hot in the summer because of all the metal, but we keep the doors wide open to get a breeze. People usually stop in when they are heading to the gas agency or taking their pets to the hospital. We know most of the shopkeepers on Kalamma Street by now. It’s a nice little community. We don't do anything too fancy, just sell what we have and try to be helpful when someone has a question. The counter is a bit scratched up from all the years of service. It’s just a basic metal shop where we do our work every day. No big frills or anything, just us at number 95. We stay open as long as there is work to do.
