Lalitha Travels

If you walk through Bellampally Basthi, you will find us at house number 14-2-146. This is where Lalitha Travels is based out of. We have been doing this for a while now, mostly helping people get where they need to go. Bellampally is a busy place, and there is always someone needing a ride to the station or to a nearby village for some work. We aren't a corporate setup with a website and all that. It’s more about knowing the people in the neighborhood. My family helps out with the bookings, and we try to keep everything organized on a simple notepad. Sometimes the traffic is bad, and the roads have a lot of potholes, but we just deal with it. We have a few cars that we look after ourselves. It’s hard work keeping them in good shape because of all the dust, but we do it every day. People know they can just come to the house and ask if a vehicle is free. We don't have any big signs or posters. Just the house and the vehicles parked nearby. It is a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us. We like staying close to home and being part of the basthi. Every day is different, and we meet all sorts of people who have stories to tell during their trips.
