Vasavadatta Cement (Kesoram Indus.), B. K. Birla Group Company

We’re based at the Raj-Laxmi building over on Pipeline Road in Vijaynagar. It’s right in the Hindalga area of Belgaum, just opposite the Shiv Mandir. Being part of Vasavadatta Cement and the Kesoram Industries under the B. K. Birla Group gives us a big name, but our daily life here is pretty grounded. We handle a lot of the local operations for the 591108 area. The office isn't anything too fancy, just a place where the work gets done. Having the Shiv Mandir right across from us makes it easy to give directions. Belgaum is a nice place to work, even when it gets busy. We see a lot of people coming and going because of the Pipeline Road location. We aren't the type of place that puts out big glossy ads. We just stick to what we know, which is the cement business. It’s a practical setup and we’ve been here for a while now. Most of the staff has been with the company through various changes. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure everything is moving along as it should. If you are in Vijaynagar, you’ve probably passed by our spot. It’s a solid part of the neighborhood. We don't have a lot of corporate jargon to share with you. We just come in, do the job for the Birla Group, and go home. It's been our location for a long time.
